Twilio Chat Messenger for Zoho CRM by AMATEC is designed to make day-to-day customer communication simple and organized for Zoho CRM users. The extension allows users to send and receive SMS messages directly in the Module of the Twilio Chat Messenger within Zoho CRM, without switching between multiple platforms. Once the extension is installed and configured by the admin, CRM users can start messaging immediately.
Users interact with customers through a clean, chat-style interface known as the Module inside Zoho CRM. All conversations remain linked to the relevant CRM records, helping users stay organized and context-aware.

Centralized Messaging Module

The Module serves as a single workspace for managing all SMS conversations.
On the left side of the Module, users can see a list of all phone numbers or contacts they have previously communicated with. On the right side, the complete conversation is displayed, showing both inbound and outbound messages together in one continuous chat view. This layout allows users to easily follow conversations without navigating away from the screen.
Users can send messages directly from the Module to any phone number, even if the number is not yet saved in the CRM. This makes it easy to reach out to new customers instantly without creating a record beforehand.

Contact Creation and Lead Management

When messaging a new number, users can quickly add it as a contact by clicking the plus (+) icon within the Module. This allows users to create new contacts without switching between Twilio and Zoho CRM, keeping the entire workflow within a single interface.
For ongoing conversations, users also have the option to convert a conversation into a Lead directly from the Module. By selecting the checkbox provided for a conversation, the phone number and chat can be added as a Lead in Zoho CRM. Once a Lead or Contact is saved in the CRM, the entire chat history becomes accessible directly within that CRM record. Users do not need to return to the Module to review past conversations.
